Welcome to Kelly Anne Creative

Hello, I’m Kelly Anne. A fashion designer, illustrator, and textile artist with a deep love for storytelling through colour, texture, and form. Kelly Anne Creative is my little corner of the world where I share the work that lights me up: delicate fashion illustrations, hand-painted and digital textile prints, and the behind-the-scenes craft that goes into thoughtful, considered design.

My creative process usually begins with something tactile — a loose watercolour sketch, an inked contour, or a series of hand-drawn motifs — and evolves through a blend of digital refinement and intuitive experimentation. I’m fascinated by the space where traditional artistry meets modern technique, and I often find myself chasing those in-between moments: the soft blur of a painted petal, the unexpected texture that appears when pigment pools on paper, the feeling of something half-remembered coming to life on a screen.

Alongside my illustration and print design work, I also specialise in:

  • Textile & Print Design – from hand-painted motifs to fully developed repeat prints

  • Fashion Illustration – expressive watercolour, digital rendering, concept art

  • CAD Drawing – clean, accurate digital flats for collection development

  • Technical Pack Creation – detailed, manufacturer-ready documentation for garment production

I love helping brands, designers, and fellow creatives bring their ideas to life — whether that’s crafting a signature print, visualising a garment concept, or building the technical foundations that transform sketches into beautifully made pieces.

My Studies & Dual Passions

I recently completed my Bachelor of Fashion Design, an experience that shaped not just my technical abilities but also my creative voice. It taught me how to dive deeper into my concepts, refine my craftsmanship, and understand the full journey from initial sketch to finished garment. Throughout my studies, I found myself gravitating toward print design, illustration, and the detailed artistry behind textiles — all the things that now form the heart of Kelly Anne Creative.

Outside of fashion, I am also a practicing part-time veterinarian, a completely different but equally meaningful passion of mine. Working in veterinary medicine keeps me grounded, compassionate, and connected to the natural world — an endless source of visual inspiration. But as much as I love the work I do with animals, I feel most myself when I am designing: surrounded by sketches, colour palettes, fabric swatches, and ideas that tug at my imagination.

This dual path has taught me balance, patience, and the importance of following all parts of who you are — but fashion is where my soul feels the most at home.
